Interesting podcast, Matt. When you first explained what was going on, my first thought was “Get up, just get up!” …I know, easier said then done :). I love what you say at the end, about OCD not being worth listening to when it is so mean and berating. I get a sense from you at the end of the podcast that you’ve “had enough from OCD” and I think that’s a great way to feel!

Thanks Janet. Yeah, I didn’t mean to suggest that one “should” put up with OCD – just that in the moment, I couldn’t see an alternative to leaning in to the worries. But yeah, I don’t ultimately want to be sidetracked in these ways – I want to see these intrusive thoughts for what they are more and more quickly, and to dismiss ’em and move on!
